Innovation in Business Services
CU Business Group's 2008 spring training conference promises to be bigger and better than ever. Attendees will learn from industry leaders and technical experts, and gain valuable insight from networking and sharing information with peers.
This year's conference format will include an abundance of smaller, topic-centered breakout sessions, which are sure to generate excellent dialogue and provide for a great hands-on learning experience. We will also offer separate sessions for both small and large credit unions, including speakers from highly successful programs of varying credit union sizes.
Industry leaders will cover a variety of topics, including:
- NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland on business services from the regulators’ perspectives
- Advanced business lending topics - grow and prosper
- Mature business programs - the challenges of maintaining the momentum
- Small credit union, big opportunities - don't let size deter you
- Creating a niche-focused, low-cost business lending
program…making the most of slim resources
- Compensation, incentive and recruiting strategies for business
services staff - get the right people, and keep them
- Creating ZING through effective branding and marketing of
the business program
